Here’s some of the regular ministries taking place at Open Door:
Every week at 9:45 we meet before morning worship to Study God’s Word in a smaller family atmosphere. There are classes for all ages and a nursery is provided.
KIDS FOR CHRIST:
Kids for Christ meets at 10:45 every Sunday during morning worship. Every week children ages 4-12 worship God through singing, are taught age appropriate lessons from God’s Word, and usually do some kind of craft project.
Every Wednesday night from 7-8pm a team of volunteers lead the Faith Weaver Friends Program at Open Door. This is a vacation Bible school style program that includes a lesson, singing, game, craft, and snack all centered around a central theme each week. The Friends Program is for children in pre-K through 5th grade.
Every Wednesday from 7-8pm students grades 6-12 meet for fellowship, worship, and teaching in God’s Word.
Adult Bible Study
Every Wednesday from 7-8pm adults meet to pray and discuss the previous weeks sermon in more depth.
The second and fourth Tuesday of each month at 6:30pm the women of Open Door meet for fellowship, encouragement, worship, study, and outreach. Some weeks the women meet at the church facility and other weeks they go out to share God’s love in the community.
The third Tuesday of each month at 6:30pm the guys at Open Door meet for fellowship, encouragement, and Bible Study. This is a great way to get connected with other brothers in Christ at Open Door.
25:35 is an outreach ministry geared toward serving the less fortunate in our local community. This ministry meets at various times throughout the year to do outreach projects. Check our calendar regularly to see when the next project is scheduled.
